Joan, I managed to get 2.50d working under W2K8 (and also tried V3.02 with the same results). The issue was that when the PDF printer is installed it doesn't create a printer record within the following keys: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Currentversion\PrinterPorts and HKEY_USER...

PDF Converter on Windows 2008
Hello, We have the professional developers version of PDF Converter 2.50d. This is working well on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 2003. We have a client who has installed Windows 2008 server who is complaining that the PDF converter is not creating files when run on that platform. - The PDF printer was ...

error code 41
Thanks Joan,
Trap for beginners. Our program was only allocating 200 bytes for the license code which was OK for 2.50, but it seems that 2.51 uses 238 bytes (at least the evaluation version does), we were therefore truncating the 2.51 license which caused the error code – 41.
Thanks again,
Ross.

Hello, We are are licenced user of converter 2.50f, developer/professional version. In an attempt to resolve a "font corruption" issue in 2.50f we are evaluating V2.51. I have performed the following: - uninstalled 2.50f from my PC - rebooted my PC - installed 2.51 evaluation version I the...

Converter 2.50d to 2.50f upgrade problem
I have posted this question previously, but no response. :( Updating from 2.50d to 2.50f and performing a PDFMerge. The resulting PDF has corruptions in some fonts. The same source documents merge correctly under 2.50d and the source PDF files display correctly before the merge. I have narrowed it d...

2.50f font problem
Hmmmm, 4 days, 10 views no replies... I will simplify my question. Was there a change done between 2.50d and 2.50f that would cause the PDF output resulting from a PDF merge to corrupt some text. If so then has a further change been made to any newer version of 2.50 that would fix this problem. In m...

Vista...
The reason I ask whether Converter 2.50 will run under Vista is a comment on your web site, I quote...
"Coming in V3.0!'Support for the new Microsoft Vista operating system".
Is this just marketing hype or is V3 actually required as a minimum for Vista support.

Clarification regarding multi-user, multi-thread usage
I have read many notes regarding this topic on the forums. I need clarification regarding multi-user, multi-thread using the developer version of PDF Converter 2.50. NOTE: We want to develop a SINGLE set of PDF enabled programs that will run 1) single-user, 2) multi-user (e.g. Citrix), and 3) multi-...

PDF converter 2.50d to 2.50f font problem
Hello, We have just updated from PDF Converter 2.50d to 2.50f. Documents that previously "merged" OK using 2.50d are now "corrupt" under 2.50f. The problem seems to be specific to text in the arial font. Text that is arial bold is OK, but normal arial text all displays one charac...

Hello, Did you get any resolution to your first query. We also have sites where on some PC's the PDF file is not being created. No problems with other PC's on the same network. BTW: These forums are really good, but I find many threads such as this one where the solution is not posted. Perhaps this ...

PDF converter using Microsoft IIS and a server side CGI
My application is using the developer version of PDF Converter and is running as a server side CGI process using Microsoft IIS as the web server.
