Hello,
We have just updated from PDF Converter 2.50d to 2.50f. Documents that previously "merged" OK using 2.50d are now "corrupt" under 2.50f.
The problem seems to be specific to text in the arial font. Text that is arial bold is OK, but normal arial text all displays one character over the top of the last character.
I have reverted back to 2.50d and all is OK again, but going forward we will no doubt have to move to V3 for Vista when it arrives so we need to ensure that this problem is fixed in V3.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
NOTE: We create the "background" PDF using Microsoft Publisher and use Ghostscript to convert the resulting .PS to a PDF. This method HAS worked OK using PDF Converter versions up to and including 2.50d, but goes wrong when upgrading to 2.50f.
HELP!!!!
Ross.

2.50f font problem
Hmmmm, 4 days, 10 views no replies... I will simplify my question.
Was there a change done between 2.50d and 2.50f that would cause the PDF output resulting from a PDF merge to corrupt some text.
If so then has a further change been made to any newer version of 2.50 that would fix this problem.
In my case, on the merged PDF, all Arial text in normal font gets printed over the top of the first letter printed on a line. All Arial text in bold appears OK.
NOTE: The PDF file before the merge is OK.
