The PDF Converter runs slower when producing multiple PDF's to a folder in Windows XP when a Windows Explorer window is open. (not necessarily for the folder where the PDF files are being produced)
We have a function in our custom Visual FoxPro application that will produce a batch of reports, each as a separate PDF file to a folder specified by the user. If the user (in WinXP Pro or Home) has an explorer window open, the PDF's are produced significantly slower than of there are no explorer windows open.
Do you have any advice/suggestions besides "close Windows explorer windows" ?
Thanks in advance,
-Lou.
