We are using the PDF Converter version 2.50f
Can you tell me if there are any known conflicts between this and the Adobe 4.0 writer printer. A customer is unable to preview using the converter and the Writer is the only thing that stands out as being the possible culprit.
Thanks
Software conflict?
We create a product that enables our customers to create their own genealogy charts. They put their information in and the PDF printer driver allows them to create a PDF image of the chart they had created.
Unfortunately, one customer is unable to make use of this. The install log shows that the the PDF converter installed fine and it is showing in her list of printers.
Instead of getting an error message it just blinks and does nothing when she tries to create a PDF.
We've tried editing the PATH environment variable to remove any blanks (there were none) and tried to Copy C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\framedyn.dll to C:\WINDOWS\system32 (was already there).
The only difference we see is she also had Adobe 4.0 writer printer installed and we were wondering if there are any known issues between the converter and the Adobe writer.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello,
The scenario you are describing is very similar to when the “FaxTalk†driver is on a system. I have included below a link to our technical note which outline this in greater detail.

Hope this helps?
