Testing Installation of PDF Converter

Greetings Gurus

Have a client that uses a large network of PCs and they have purchased the doc converter/pdf driver professional developer. They have a powerbuilder application. The techies that look after the SOE (Std Operating Env) (their Windows setup) are setting up an SOE for Windows XP rollout and will be including Amyuni within. They are asking is there anything they can do or use to test this installation after the windows install (which will include the PDF driver). AFAIK there isnt anything visual with this particular product option (and my preference is to write them a small one-windowed test app to call the driver & create a PDF) - is there anything anyone can suggest before I write this small app?
