PDF Converter Printing to Printer

I am working with users of a program which uses the 2.08 version of the PDF Converter driver. On one machine, when the user attempts to convert to a PDF (we have a button for doing so in the program), it prints directly to their printer and does not create the PDF file, and did not always do this. As usual, the user is not sure what changed. I deleted the driver and tried to let the program reinstall it, but it does not reinstall. We've tried using the install.exe for the driver. Originall it gave errors, but I deleted the .dll files in the system32 folder and copied them back. I registered cdintf.dll, and it said Printer Setup succeeded, but the driver did not install, and when I have them convert to PDF, it still prints to the printer, only on this machine. It's an XP machine if that helps. I'm at my wits end on this, and was curious if anyone had any ideas.

To Install the PDF Converter using Install.exe you need to check that you are running Install.exe from a folder containing all the files you received with the driver.

The application can be printing to the physical printer instead of the PDF because:

1 - The application prints to the default printer and it is the physical printer that is set as default.

2 - The report is designed to be printed to a specific printer that is the physical printer.

In your case, I suggest that you reinstall the PDF Printer properly on the system, reboot the system and check that your application does print the report to the PDF Printer specifically or it does set the Printer as default.
