All PDFs are 0 bytes

Post by JeffreyHunt »

Hello,

I am running and old version 1.59, which is running fine on several pc's and one server. I've reciently installed it on a newer server, the install worked fine, yet all of my PDF have a 0 byte length. When I look at the STAT file is shows Pages=0, so 0 bytes does makes sense, however, I'm using the same program and hitting the same data using my pc and using the older server and my PDFs are perfect. It appears to be the new server, maybe something during the install, maybe something different about the server. The two servers (older and newer) are using the same OS and Service Pack, same Anti-Virus. My program is written in Foxpro, but like I said earlier I'm using the same program just htting it with mapped drives from my pc and the older server that does work. The Data and Program are both located on the newer server, the one that only puts out 0 byte PDFs.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff.

What may be the issue is that the "new server" does not have the Amyuni PDF Converter assigned to the NUL: port if it is 64-bit.

As you well know 1.59 is considered legacy and although we do support the 4.0 product we rarely invest development time.

Amyuni PDF Converter 4.5 is the result of more than a year of continual improvements over the previous 4.0 release. With Windows 7 and 64-bit OS becoming the standards in the PC market, all the aspects of running under these environments have been reviewed and optimized.

You can demo the Amyuni PDF Converter 4.5 from this link:

Rich, thanks for your reply. We are running Widowns Server 2003 standard edition on both the old and the newer servers, so no 64-bit.
