I am using Myob AO and one of the functions is to send reports to PDF. When I do this it comes up with a 0kb file which is unable to be opened by Adobe 8.
I have read through Ryan's logs but unfortunately I am not at his level of expertise.
I also have Myob accounting installed which sends to PDF successfully.
Can you please advise if there are any other software packages that clash with Amyuni PDF converter?
I have tried reinstalling several times unsuccessfully. The converter works successfully on my other computer.
PLS HELP
PDf Converter
Hello,
Maybe Myob AO is using an old version of the PDF Converter.
Do you know if both softwares are using the same printer name?

Sorry I Don't know
It was working in Myob AO but stopped working. At that stage I was using it infrequently so I can't pinpoint the time it stopped.
I have installed a samsung printer/scanner using smartthru. I thought this may have caused the problem so I have tried uninstalling this through Remove Programs but it made no difference.
I have removed Norton and a few other programs that I thought may have clashed. No Luck

Hello,
You mentioned that Myob Accounting is working properly.
Please install Myob AO than install Myob Accounting and try to use Myob AO to see if it worked.
If not I suggest that you get a per instance technical support so our Technical Team can check which versions of the PDF Converter are installed on your system, why Myob AO is not printing and if needed update the printers.

Hello,
You will find here the information about the per-incident technical support (i call it per instance above).
http://www.amyuni.com/en/support/perincident.html
You need to request support for end-user in your case.
Another option that you might be interested at is to get your own end user version of the PDF Converter and install it on your system. You will be able to print to it from any Windows application as well as from you Myob AO application.

PDF converter
I have downloaded and installed the PDF Converter Trial but when I print to the Amyuni PDF Converter it still comes up with a 0kb file.
Hello,
Most probably you have the old version of the driver stuck in memory. Please do a clean install of the evaluation version.
Here is the procedure of a clean install:
1 - take a backup of your old version of the PDF Converter, store the files under C:\ProgramFiles\Amyuni aside.
2 - Unistall all the PDF Printers (old version and new version) using Start -> Program Files -> Amyuni .... - > Unistall
3 - Go to the Printers folder and check that all the Amyuni Printers are unistalled
4 - Delete the following files from your system
cdintf*.*
acfpdf*.*
5 - Reboot your system
6 - Install the latest evaluation version available in our website www.amyuni.com and print your documents to it.
Hope this helps.
