Unable to change Sheet Size and/or orientation

Post by DynaSCAPE »

Hello everyone,

I'm using the DLL interface to PDFConverter in C++, and have as of yet been unable to have the changes I make to sheet size and page orientation take effect.

With regards to the orientation issue, I have been given a bug #, but I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems, or if anyone else is using the DLL interface to control PDFConverter and is able to successfully modify these settings?

I'm hoping to find some sort of workaround, as I am on a tight release schedule.

Thanks,

Fred

Hello Fred,

I can't recall or retrieve your issue, you need to follow up with the support about it. But are you calling SetDefaultConfig() after changing the printer settings? if not please call this function.

Hi Joan,

Yes I am calling SetDefaultConfig() after calling SetPaperSize and SetOrientation but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I was given an issue number : 1709 which applies to my inability to change page orientation, but it also applies to changing sheet size as well in my case.

It seems that nothing except for the output filename actually takes effect.

Hello,

I checked your issue, it is set to Fixed in our system.

The fix will be included in the next release planned for end of November.

If you wish you can contact support@amyuni.com next week to get a beta version to try it or you can wait till end of N0vember and try the released version.
