Hello,
We’re using AMYUNI PDF Converter deployed in a Web Application designed to work under heavy load scenarios. We have a Developer version of your application so we have to init and activate the PDF Printer before each document is sent to the printer. We also use the EnabledPre event to activate the printer just prior to the document being sent.
We followed all this recommendations but, sometimes, under heavy load conditions in our Web Application and with large Word documents being converted, the “Error code -30†Window popup still occurs. In this situation the Microsoft Word COM instance stops, waiting for user response, and our PDF converting module stops working, ‘cause this work is done in a Web server.
¿Can you help me to solve this?
Thank you very much.
Error code -30 under heavy load conditions
PDF Converter running on a web server usually requires 0 timeout activation codes, i.e. activation codes that do not require the call to EnablePrinter and do not timeout.
This is however a licensing issue and you should send a description of your application to sales@amyuni.com for them to check if they can provide you with 0 timeout or some specific licensing.
