Saving as a PDF in Quickbooks

Post by tanya81 »

I am using Quickbooks Premier 2004 and I have the Amyuni PDF Conberter 2.07 on my computer. I recently re-installed Quickbooks onto a new computer and I've been having problems creating PDF's ever since.

I can create the PDF, but when I go to look at it on Acrobat Reader, it has only saved the upper left hand corner of the quote. It looks as though it has zoomed in on the quote and only captured part of it.

Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be?

Thanks!

Hello,

It is hard to help you with this as there is not enough infomration on what might be going wrong.

Please check that the right version of the PDF Converter is installed on your system and not an older one.

Also plase check that you are viewing the generated pdf at 100% resolution not more.

If this didn't help please post more details on which versions you have on your system and how each version is used.

Joan,

Quickbooks 2004 Premier
Amyuni PDF Converter version 2.07

The problem lies in the output of the pdf that is created. I can create a pdf, but it is only capturing a portion of the pages I am trying to print.

When I print a page to pdf, it captures the upper left hand portions of each page and blows them up. In acrobat reader, it looks like I am zoomed in at 500% and only seeing the corner, when actually it is set at 100%.

The software was just reinstalled on a new computer. I am not sure if there is a setting that is causing this to happen or if it has to do with the software installed.

I appreciate your help. Please let me know if I can provide more info that would help. Perhaps I could email you a copy of the pdf that is created for a better idea of what the problem is.

Thanks
Joan

Hello,

Please try to check what are the printer page settings, and the application page settings. maybe these settings are not the same.

You can also try to download a demo version of the PDF Converter from our site and try to install it on your system and print to it. The demo version is 2.50, it will install seperately as 2.07 that you have with Quickbooks. When installing the demo please check that 'Developer version' is Unchecked.

Hope this helps.
