I have Quickbooks Premier 2005 installed on an XP Pro 64 bit OS.
The Quickbooks printer setup failed on install.
I searched and found the Amyuni 64 bit driver and installed it...then renamed the printer to "Intuit Internal Printer"
Now I get "Printer not activated, error code -41"
Does anyone know of a solution for the 64 bit platform running Quickbooks?
(I understand that this is an licensing/activation issue with the Amyuni driver...I am just looking for a proper solution to allow forms to be emailed from Quickbooks, which means converted to PDF and then attached to the email).
Yes, I am searching Quickbooks site as well for information.
Thnx!
Quickbooks on XP Pro 64 bit...error code 41
Hello,
The version of the PDF Converter available in Quickbooks does not support Windows 64 bits.
If you wish to license your own single user version of the driver you can do so and get a single user activation code for the new version that supports 64 bits. You will benefit from some discount as you are currently using the product in a third party application.
I suggest however that you don't rename the newly installed printer to the same name given by Intuit, give it another name and try to print to it from Quickbooks or any other application.
Hope this helps.
