Hallo, trying convert from rtf to a pdf file i have this problem:
the rtf file i have only one page in landascape while all ohter pages are portrait and in the footer information the page number; this page number is the automatic fields that Ms Word inserts; the document is saved in rtf format from MS Word.
Afterwards converting in pdf file the page number is right until the page in landascape mode, the next one start again form 1.
Can anybody give me some suggestions or help?
Thank you,
Ricky
Landscape Page
Hello,
I tried to reproduce this issue using Word 2003 on Windows 2000 and PDF Converter version 2.50 but I couldn't.
I created an RTF file having 1 landscape page and added numbers to the footer. I printed this file to the PDF Printer and the page numbers in the output pdf file were right, after the lanscape page the numbering continued and didn't restart from 1.

Hallo Joan! You have right! I tried as well your test and it works good!
So from this point no problem, but i forgot an important thing about this trouble.
In this application i'm using an external editor (TER 32 v. 8.0) to create this rtf file; each rtf file before be converted in pdf is opened with this editor and printed...
Can make any kind of differences this new information? Is possible this different behavior between file coming from different editor?
Thank you very much, Ricky

Hello,
If you do the same process while printing your documents to a physical printer, will get the output on paper similar to the generated pdf file?
If the output on paper is similar to the PDF one, than this page numbering issue will be due to the Editor you are using and not to the PDF Converter.
Hope this helps.
