We have a directory with a mix of DOC and PDF files that we are converting into a single PDF. What is the quickest way to process a directory of files? Certain method parameters or object properties to set?
Right now, we are testing using file masking. It has been 1.5 hours and has processed 196 files. We need to pick up the pace.
TIA
Any way to speed up batch conversion?
Hello,
I didn't really get your questions.
In your second post i notice that you are using BatchConvert() and you mentioned having version 2.08a of the PDF Converter.
Please try to use version 2.09 (our latest release in the 2.0 series) or even our latest version 2.50. Will you still have problems with BatchConvert?
Thanks.

Hello,
To batch convert documents to PDF you can use BatchConvert (ActoveX interface) or BatchConverEx (Dll interface).
BatchConvert will open each file in the related application and print it to the PDF Printer. If you have a large number of files than the process will definitely be a little bit slow.
