PDF Converter -> version question....

Post by Carsten »

hi!

i downloaded "PDF_CONV_210.zip" from your hompepage to test it.

after installing i can see a new printer driver in the list. but it hasnt the same properties as u show in the "Amyuni PDF Converter.pdf" document, it only shows property page 1.

btw, Activating the Developer Evaluation Version works fine......

u also wrote on your homepage that PDF Converter 2.1 can redirect the print to another printer, but i cant find any informations in the "Common Driver Interface 210.pdf" document for that....

did i do anything wrong?

regards

Hello,

We have two editions of the PDF Converter: the Developer edition and the Standard edition.
The Developer edition will enable you to generate pdf files only from inside your application, and when selling your application you can include the option of generating pdf files and add the needed dlls to your application without paying additional frees.
The Standard version of the product will enable you to generate pdf files from your application and from any other windows application, but you need a
license for each machine on which you are going to install the PDF Converter.

Depending on how you want to use our PDF Converter please download the demo version that better suits your needs.

Concerning printing the pdf file to a physical printer, this can be done by calling the .Print method of the ActiveX interface of CDintf. This is available only in the Professional version of driver.

Hope this helps, if you need further info please let us know or feel free to contact our Support department support@amyuni.com

Have a nice day !
