Error code 41 on EnablePrinter command.
Error code 41 on EnablePrinter command.
Version 4.0.0.7 of the PDF Converter is installed along with my application using '-s' and the name of the printer used by the application--but not the licensee and code information. That is passed during the EnablePrinter() command. This process works perfectly for the 25+ Windows XP workstations. However, the newest workstation runs Windows 7 Professional. On that machine, an error code 41 is generated when you attempt to print to PDF, even though the printer was installed in exactly the same way as for the XP workstations. What must be done differently for Windows 7?
Re: Error code 41 on EnablePrinter command.
Hello,
The error code -41 is typically generated when trying to activate a newer version of the PDF Converter with an older activation code.
If you are using v4.0x of the printer driver, please make sure that licensing information supports this version.
If this does not help, can you post more information about the PC you are trying to use the PDF Converter on?
- 32bit or 64bit win7?
Hope this helps?

Re: Error code 41 on EnablePrinter command.
Thanks for your post. In our case, the problem was isolated to the workstations running Windows 7. It was solved by upgrading those to the latest version of the PDF Converter. The XP machines are still running a slightly older version without problems...
