Hi,
We use Amyuni 2.50g, one of our large clients has experienced and issue on the Terminal Services system using Windows Server 2003.
Basically they are finding occasionally that PDF document contents are getting swapped around, for example they generate a PDF for John Smith on machine A in a file called JohnSmith.PDF and on machine B generate a file for Jane Williams in a file called JaneSmith.PDF, the result is that JaneSmith.PDF contains John Smiths PDF data and vice versa.
We looked at this problem a few months ago and implemented the locking that has been suggested however our client is still experiencing the issue.
Do later versions of the convertor deal with this issue better or is it likely to be an issue with our locking code?
Does anyone have any other ideas of how this issue maybe solved.

Re: PDF Convertor putting wrong file contents in PDF file
I'm using version 4.0 and am running into a very similar issue. We have the correct files being written to the wrong user directory. Locking doesn't quite handle all the scenarios our users can throw at it under Terminal Services and am in the process of a redesign. If you come up with a solution I would love to hear it.

We contacted support in the end and they have given us a licence code for a per user version, basically this uses the local user registry for the PDF generation rather than at a machine level.
We will be deploying this to the user experiencing the issue soon so I guess time will tell!
