We are using PDF Converter 3.01
We are attempting to install on a customer's Vista Home Premium 64 bit. He has Admin Privileges and has right clicked on icon to allow Admin Privileges there as well so this appears not to be the issue.
He claims that the program "hangs" and he has to terminate.
We have found that the PDF Converter fails to initialize. The install log shows:

PDF Converter 3.01 - Fails to initialize
Hello,
From the log file shown above it seems that the PDF Printer has insalled successfully.
Under Windows 64-bits there is a problem installing the PDF Printer on LPT1: our developers are checking this currently.
What you can do on your customer's system is create a new port and give it any name you want than attach the PDF Printer to it.
This should help.

Before receiving your reply, customer came up with this solution that worked for him:
Change the spool options from Print directly to printer, to Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster -> Start printing immediately.
He then tried the solution you gave and he said, "works like a charm even with the default settings in the printer properties."
Thank you for your help.
