Tiff Colour Inversion

Post by kosch »

Hi

We use a product called Adlib Express Server, which in turn uses the Amyuni PDF print driver 2.51b. We recently upgraded the Adlib Express software, before the upgrade it used 2.10h of the Amyuni PDF Driver..

The bulk of the items we convert are word documents with Tiffs.

We have now encountered a problem where some of the Tiff's colors are inverted (black to white and white to black for example). For instance we can have a word document that had 10 images inside it and 5 of them may produce this inversion problem.

I have spoken with Adlib and they say its a problem with the 3rd party PDF driver vendor which is Amyuni. I've been chasing adlib support for many months and they have no soloution for this problem as they say they are waiting on Amyuni to respond to them, so I decided to come here to the forums and ask for advice.

Has anyone else had this colour inversion problem and can shed light on it?

Thanks

Doug

Sorry I forgot to mention we are using the latest patched and service packed version of word 2002 as this is what adlib uses to open up the word documents.

Well they gave us a newer version of the application and a hotfix running 2.51-d of the Amyuni drivers and its fixed our tiff inversion problem. No clue as to what intially caused the problem as we werent informed.
