Hi -
I'm using driver 2.50e-3
I open a new Word 2000 document and type:
This is ‘Verdana’ - a single quote is ‘
This is ‘Garamond’ – a single quote is ‘
I then set the font of the first line to verdana and the font of the second line to garamond.
I then print to the converter.
The resultant PDF replaces the single quotes (frontward and backwards) with squares.
If we configure will full font embedding, then it renders properly - but the file size is huge.
Any way to get the partial font embedding to work with these fonts? It used to work in the 2.10 version of the drivers...
Thanks,
- K

I tried this same scenario using a new build 2.50e-5 and the quotes appear properly when using partial font embedding.
Sometimes you could be using a true type font but some characters of this font (example quotes) are unicode, in this case you will need to check Multilanguage Support while generating the PDF file.
The new version will be online at the end of today, please feel free to download it from our site and check it.
Hope this helps.
