Use Install.exe only to install driver - not a printer

Hello , i want use the install.exe to install the document converter driver. Unfortunatly it always installs a printer as well. How can i tell install.exe only to install the driver ?

Hello Markus,

You can't tell Install.exe to install only the driver, it will install a printer too because you can't generated PDF files unless by printing your documents to the PDF Printer.

Why you need to only install the driver ?

the printer will be installed by the application, so i just need the driver.

You can install the printer and the driver using Install.exe and then delete the printer by hand.

Please note that if your application is going to install the printer using either CDIntf or Install.exe the driver will be reinstalled.
