Running 2.5d
When we convert a Word document containing shapes that have been marked as semi-transparent, the entire page in the resultant PDF comes up with no content (even if only a single shape out of many is marked semi-transparent).
I'm playing with the Emulate PS option, but the results are not looking good - they render at least, but the shapes are not at all print quality.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
- K

I *thought* I was on 2.5d - but the printer properties show 2.5c. Please see my other post from today about how to properly update cdintf using code without having to completely uninstall and reinstall the printers...
After I get that taken care of, I'll come back to this problem.
Thanks,
- K

OK - I am now on 2.5d, and the PDF generation does actually create a real page in the PDF. The results are not at all good (instead of showing the shape of the inserted object, it appears as a filled rectangle).
I'll email a sample .doc file so your support group can take a look at it.
I have tried switching on the SimPostscript option. The result renders the shapes properly, but the transparency info is completely lost (overlapping objects are not alpha-blended).
Thanks,
- Kevin
