How to completely uninstall the PDF Converter v2.10?

Hi all,

I'm trying to automatically uninstall v2.10 completely in one shot in order to do a clean install of v2.50 afterwards.
By "completely", I mean:
- the printer driver
- the files in "C:\Program Files\AMYUNI PDF CONVERTER"
- the shortcuts
- components in "Add or Remove Programs"...

By not removing the shortcuts and the various files, some references and files from v2.10 remain.

From what I gather on the forum it doesn't seem possible or is it?...

Hello,

Running Unistall will completely unistall the dlls and files of the PDF Printer. It will not remove the "C:\Program Files\AMYUNI PDF CONVERTER" folder however.

After running Unistall and rebooting your systme you can install 2.50. If you want to check that all the dlls are removed from your system, you can manually search and delete all the files of type:
acfpdf*.*
cdintf*.*

Hi,

I tried the Install -u "Amyuni PDF Converter" command to uninstall v2.10 and rebooted. It only removed the printer driver (and unregistered the .dll??). The reference to the converter is still in "Add\Remove Programs" ...

I have found these commands: Setup.exe /uc key and Setup.exe /up key. Are these valid?

Hello,

I have version 2.50 of the PDF Converter. I tried to go to:
Start -> Programs -> Amyuni PDF Converter -> Unistall

After running the Unistall I get the Amyuni PDF Converter removed from the Add/Remove software.

Depending on which version 2.10 you have you may be able to so the same, if the printer is not installed under Start -> Program Files then you can remove it from the Add/Remove Programs directly, reboot your system and install the new version.

I didn't try Setup.exe /uc or /up myself, if you wish to know how it works with version 2.10 please contact support@amyuni.com
