The destination prompt can be set to
Prompt for filename,
predefined by user,
or
Document title.

Where is this information stored (so that I can programatically change it)

I checked in th registry and found no information regarding this.

Hello,

To programatically change the destination of the generated pdf file you need to use CDintf. You need to add the option you choose to FileNameOptions()

For more details please check the Developers' manual "Common Driver Interface.pdf" that you got with your PDF Converter.
