Hello there,
I did a quick search and did not find the official solution for this. We currently install the Amyuni PDF printer drivers from within our own installer. We are noticing more and more clients wanting to repackage our software. I think Amyuni Technologies probably doesn't want us to reveal our license key to the end-users for repackaging purpose. What is a recommended solution for this issue? I could ship the customers the Amyuni install.exe, but they would still need a code to activate the driver.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
How would end users deploy without developer license key?
Hello Joan,
We have included our own license key in our installer in order to persist the PDF printer we creates. Unfortunately, the trend of larger companies these days is to repackage 3rd party softwares, so they forego our installer. Also the large companies prefer locking down their computers (restrict system directory access, HKCM access), so during program execution time, the printer driver can not be installed. Currently, we can not simply ship the Amyuni install.exe to the customer, as they would need our code to activate the printer.
Thank you for any info.
