I have the Form Printing Canceled Due To Printer Error that many have seen in Peachtree. It appears to be related to the licensing of the printer driver. When I am in Peachtree and send to the pdf printer I can go to the printer preferences and then click on the amyuni driver and put in the demo license and license key, then it works fine. I do get the demo watermark however. Since the printer is deleted when Peachtree exits, I just exported that registry key and just re-import the reg key before starting Peachtree so the printer settings are there.
So, Peachtree can't fix this even though I told them exactly what is going on. What do you suggest? I just paid $200 for their program and don't think I need to purchase another newer $200 program from them, or purchase a new license for Amyuni. It is clearly a license "sticking" issue in the driver.

Let me rephrase the issue you are facing to check that I really get it: "When printing from Peachtree you are getting an error. If you use the demo activation code in the registry you can print without any error".

When you email a form from Peachtree Complete Accounting 2004, Peachtree installs the Amyuni PDF Printer driver, which it calls Peachtree PDF Printer, but, it gives you "Form Printing Canceled Due To Printer Error" immediately after it is install. If you put license info into the Printing Preferences tab for the Amyuni driver, then it works fine. So, while the printer is still installed (Peachtree deletes it when exiting the program) and working with license info, I exported the printer registry key and saved it. Now, I import the registry key, start Peachtree and things work well...excpet that I get the Demo Version Watermark on my forms!

The version of the PDF Converter available with PeachTree is made to be used only from inside PeachTree.
I suspect this issue to be related to enabling the printer. PeachTree will be able to help you with this, please get back to them and let them check if they are enabling the printer right before printing. They will contact us if needed.
