We have a developer license, and have one product that is currently shipping with 2.10e.
We are just about ship another (different) product and are planning to ship with the 2.10i files.
The main problem we can imagine is if a client has the new product on their system , and then installs the older software will the drivers be downgraded to the older version? Or does install.exe check the driver versions and only install upgraded versions.
laura.
Is install.exe sensitive to existing versions..
Hello,
2.10e and 2.10i have the same main version, they both use the same driver 2.10.
If you have version 2.10i on a system and you install 2.10e then reboot, the version of the driver will be 2.10e.
If you have two totally different versions, lets say 2.10 and 2.11, then these are installed separately and none of them will overwrite the other.
