PDF Converter and Terminal Services

Just wondering what type of driver the latest version of PDF Converter is? Is the latest version a type 2 (kernal mode) or type 3 (user mode) driver?

I've currently got a new W2k TSE/Metaframe XP environment which has istalled on it a 3rd party application which requires the PDF Converter printer driver to operate. The current version of the PDF Converter driver is the only type 2 driver we have installed on the server and we are starting to get spoolsv.exe application errors.

I'm not sure this the Amyuni driver is causing the problem but I would like to update it to a type 3 driver to rule it out as causing the error.

The latest version of the PDF Converter 2.10 for Windows 2000 / XP is a type 3 driver (user mode).

Only the version for Windows NT is a Kernel mode driver.

To update your version of the PDF Converter you need to get back to your application provider. If you need to check that the latest version will help, please feel free to download a demo version from our site.
