Uninstall pdf converter 2.10h

Hi,

I installed Pdf Converter 2.10h Developer Edition on a pc with Win XP (install myprintername).
Then I uninstalled it (install -u myprintername) and installed version 2.10e: at this point the Printing Preferences dialog box on the pdf printer still reports versione 2.10h !
I repeated the entire process with version 2.10h and next 2.10d, getting the same result.

Could anyone help me ?

Hello,

When using Install-u to unistall a the PDF Printer, you need to remove the dlls of this printer manually after rebooting your system.

If you unistalled version 2.10h and installed version 2.10e, than dlls of 2.10e will overwrite the ones of 2.10h, please check that you are rebooting your system after installing the new version.

Could I expect that in a next release the uninstall procedure will not require any manual operation ? We need to launch the 'uninstall -u' command from inside our applications: handling the removal of dlls is complicated, not mentioning the reboot !

Please send an e-mail to support@amyuni.com to log this issue as a request so it will be transfered to the development team to check its feasibility.

If you are installing a newer version of the driver you don't need to run Install -u, you can just install the new version and reboot your system.
