Error Code 183

Hello All,

I am trying to install your product on a Windows XP pc and I am having problems. This install works fine on all other PC in this location just not this one.

I get the following error:

Windows 2000/XP Install

Installing PDF priner Driver
Error Code: 183
Cannot Create a file when that file already exists.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installing PDF Printer
Error Code: 1797
The Printer driver is unknown
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Printer setup failed
Error Code: 1797
The printer driver is unknown.
------------------------------------------------------------------------


Does anyone have any idea what file it is trying to create that already exhists?

Hello,

This is the first time I hear about error code 183 !

Please check the following:

1 - That all the files you received with the PDF Converter are in the same folder as Install.exe

2 - Delete any instance of the following files from the system directory:
Cdint*.*
Acfpdf*.*

Ok after working on this issue for a few days I was able to get this fixed. Somehow the printe drivers got corrupted. So i had to totally remove the print drivers from the registry and from the system.
