Hi,
we are the final users of a web application that use amyuni pdf converter version 2.05.
Amyuni pdf converter was installed by "install" command in the same directory where application run, the installation was made by an administrator.
In our security context: users with admin privileges can obtain pdf, users without admin privileges cannot obtain pdf.
I have found in event log this:
With admin privileges:
Document 13, mydoc owned by adminusr was printed on Amyuni PDF Converter via port e:\mypdfdir\xxx12345.pdf. Size in bytes: 0, pages printed: 1.
Without admin privileges:
Document 14, mydoc1 owned by nonadminusr was printed on Amyuni PDF Converter via port LPT1:. Size in bytes: 0, pages printed: 1.
Naturally, the second case generate an error because no printers are connected on LPT1 port.
I think that non admin users can't change the port value but i wasn't able to find what security settings permit to do so.
Any suggestion?
Tnk's in advance.
Bye.

Hello,
The version of the driver you are using is a little bit old
Please try to update to version 2.09 or 2.10 of the PDF Converter, would you still face this same issue?
If you wish to keep version 2.05, please try to give users full rights over HKEY-Current-Config --> Software --> Printer Name in the registry.
Thanks.
