Bullets and quotes from MS Word

Hi,
I have some double quotes and bullet characters(using Alt+0149 on the numeric key pad) in a Microsoft Word document. Unless I check 'Multi-language Support' option, the PDF converter prints them as squares. If we check this option then I cannot open the resulting pdf in Adobe Illustrator 10. So we cannot use the 'Multi-language Support' option. Can you please suggest a workaround or a fix?

Did you try to use Font Embedding instead of Multilanguage support?

Are you using version 2.10e of the driver?

I don't have your sample to check it but you may try the above issues.

We are using version 2.1e and also tried font embedding. That did not help. I can send you'll a sample if needed.

I unchecked 'Partial font embedding' option. It works now. Thank you for your input.
