I support a Foxpro application that uses the Amyuni Document Converter version 2.10 to print to PDF.
At a customer site one machine with Windows XP Pro cannot print to PDF while printing the same job to any other printer works fine.
When we attempt to print we get the dialog for selecting which folder to save the file to and then when we click save the error comes.
We've tried uninstalling every printer on the machine and then reinstalling our application and the PDF-driver. We've added an option to our application that makes in initialize every printer on start up.
We even made a small app that just tries to initialize the PDF-driver to see if its working and this works just fine.
Anyone got any ideas?
Foxpro: Error loading printer driver on printing to PDF
Hello,
You have mentioned that your customer is receiving an error message when trying to generate a PDF document. Can you send a screen shot of this message to canada.support@amyuni.com?
Also, the situation that you are describing is very similar to situation that occurs when a user tries to print a PDF document to a directory where this user does not have write permissions. Please verify that the logged in user has access to this directory.
Thanks
