You posted this question to the PDF Creator forum. If you are using the PDF Converter Printer than I can move your post to the PDF Converter forum.

To help you with your question please let us know which version of the PDF Converter you are installing on your system.

Is your Windows 2000 machine a server or a standalone machine?

The garbage in the printer name is very weired and the printer name containing garbage is not our printer but another physical printer.

version of pdf creator = 3.0;
my machine is 2000 pack 4 (not a server)
the garbadge is the pdfcreator one :=(

This issue is solved by using the latest version of the PDF Creator.
