Hello,

I would suggest that you copy the cdintf400.dll to your client’s windows\system32 directory.

Thanks
Jose

Hello Jose,

the cdintf400.dll file is in my client’s windows\system32 directory but the printer doesn´t work.
The error message can't find the cdintf400.dll still comes.

Did you have another idea?

Best regards

We had a customer (in the U.K., I believe) reporting the same error, "cdintf400.dll is unavailable". This was on Win 7/64-bit.
The INSTALL.LOG says:
Windows 64-bit x86 Install
----------------------------------------------
Printer setup failed
Error Code: 1722
The RPC server is unavailable.
----------------------------------------------
Note that File & Printer Sharing is enabled, so that isn't the problem.

After much patient and tenacious experimentation on his part, he discovered that by copying:

Code: Select all

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3\cdintf400.dll
to:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
he was able to get our application to work.
