Driver version in 3.0

Recently I've installed PDF Converter 3.0 (developer license) on my computer Win XP Pro SP2 (on the same computer is already installed previous version 2.51b of PDF Converter).

Now GetVersionInformation function returns
CDIntfMajor = 3
CDIntfMinor = 0
PrinterDriverMajor =2
PrinterDriverMinor = 51
but properties for the same PDF printer report
model: Amyuni Document Converter 3.00
driver: Amyuni Document Converter 3.00

What is going on?

This was a bug in the first build 3.0, I suggest that you download the current build.

downloaded PDF Converter 3.0 files today again
still a problem

Hello,

Please make sure you are making a clean install of the latest version you downloaded. For a clean install you need to do the following:

1- Unistall the old version of the PDF Converter using C:\Program Files\ Amyuni PDF Converter\ Unistall
2 - Delete all the files of type:
cdintf*.*
acfpdf*.*
3 - Reboot your system.
4 - Install the new version

(no cdintf*.*, acfpdf*.* or acpdf*.* files).
GetVersionInformation function returns:
CDIntfMajor = 3
CDIntfMinor = 0
PrinterDriverMajor =2
PrinterDriverMinor = 51

Hello,

We will check this and post a new build online. The version number you are getting wrong is due to a change needed in a string, so you actually have version 3.0

Has this issue been resolved? We have a problem where our customers seem to still be using the old drivers and can't determine the problem becuase its still returning version 2.51

This issue has been resolved and will be included in the next service release of the PDF Converter. This update is due for release in the next few weeks.
