Hi,
we have noticed a slow down speed by 2 to 3 time less efficient the speed of the conversion to PDF under the version 2.10c versus 2.08c. The test has been done under Win 2000 and Win XP with the same results.
We have send to the Amyuni team a sample program to test. Any information about this problem ?
Thank's for your help

Test with the version actaully available 2.10c
Hi Joan,
we have the same results with the version actually avilable 2.10c.
With the version 2.08c we reach 12900 pages per hour and only 5200 pages per hour with the version 2.10c. Jose Pimentel have made the test with the sample program tha we send to him and he have the same results.
Any news from the Dev team ?
Is there a way to buy the version 2.10c pro dev edition and receive in the same time the version 2.08c pro dev edition in time that the problem with the new version will be solved ?
Best regards.

PDF Generation speed in version 2.10
We've also seen a significant decrease in the speed of PDF generation between version 2.06 and 2.10. I don't have the exact numbers available but I believe our tests showed similar results as Henri's. We haven't pursued a solution as of yet but would appreciate any input regarding this issue.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Hello,
The processing speed of the PDF Converter is affected by a number of different issues such as the type of document being converter and actual hardware being used.
In our tests, we found that with some documents ver2.10 was around 25% quicker than prevoius versions. However, with other types of documents ver210 was at par with prevoius versions.
We are presently working on an update to the ver2.10 that we include an optimization for converting images. This new feature will resolve the issue mentioned by Henri. We expect to release this update in the next couple of weeks.
