We have successfully implemented the PDF Converter into our application. Ninety-five percent of our clients are completely satisified with it. However, we would like to solve some of the problems with the other five percent. One of the problems is as follows:
Select Win 98 machines run into problems when printing JPEG images through a FoxPro report into a PDF. When running the PDF procedure, their computer locks up. We check the directory where the PDF is being created and find a really large security log file, sometimes 100 MB-500 MB for a file that is typically less than 1 MB.
We have done the following:
Set the image compression to JPEG at a level of 7 for images that are generally 100-200 KB.
Checked to see if there are any other CDINTF.DLL files.
Do you have any suggestions?
