Font error

Post by danielepasini »

Hi all,

I have got a problem with fonts
When I open single PDF file everything is ok, than I append one file to another (using PDFCreator APPEND), when I open the PDF resulted I have got the error:
Unable to find the spcified font, use Helvetica instead

Result: formats are wrong...

Why the PDF concatenaed use non-standard fonts if the source PDFs are all ok?

Thanks all

Hi,

Which version of the PDF Creator are you using?

Is there any of the pdf files having partially embeded fonts?

Font error

Post by Celine »

Hello,

I have got the same problem as danielepasini.

When I concatenate files, some of them have got this error, but I don't see the difference between these files and the others (same font : Arial + Times new roman + MS Sans Serif).

My version is 1.5.0.10.

Have you got a solution to avoid this error message when I open this file concatenated (I use methods : OpenEx, Append, Save) in Acrobat Reader ?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I advise you to check our latest version 2.0 of the PDF Creator.

The new version supports a wider range of pdf files.

Hope this helps.
