Solved - PDFMerge Not working

We used to have 2.1 and just upgraded to 3. I have checked both manuals and the commend is the same.
MergeFiles( sFile1,sFile2, sDestinationFileName,nOpts )

in 2.1 it work fine but in 3 it fail. As anyone seen this problem?

Hello,

Which version 3 exactly you are using? Is it version 3.0, 3.01, 3.01a or 3.02?

I suggest that you try the current version 3.02, MergeFiles should have any problem, you will an error only if the files you are trying to merge are not supported by our driver. In this case please send the files to support@amyuni.com

It looks like we have 3.02. and both files to be merged were created using your PDF writer.
Do you want me to send you the files to be merged?

I find out lately that MergeFiles and ConcatenateFiles are not working in a specific case. I am investigating this more.

What is the error you are getting if any when merging the documents?

Hi,

I've got the same problem with the PDF merging.
I developed a webservice that does some conversion and at the end merges some PDF files together. But for some reason it keeps giving me the error "Can't open document"

Hello,

MergeFiles() and ConcatenateFiles() of the DLL interface had the following problem in version 3.02:
No output file was generated when calling these functions.

This issue is resolved now. The fix will be available in the next release.
A patch is available for download for users who are using these functions and do not wish to wait for the release. You can receive the patch by contacting support@amyuni.com

Kees, for the issue you reported, this is not the same as the one mentioned in this post. most probably the files you are merging are not supported by the version of the PDF Converter you are using. To resolve this issue we need to check the files you are merging and know which version of the PDF Converter you are using the merge them.
