Font name for embedding

Post by aghezzi »

I'm trying to embed some fonts to a pdf file using PDF Creator 2.0

The problem is that I don't know what is the font name to use: for example if I would like to embed "Times New Roman" I see (in Acrobat Distiller) that I should use "TimesNewRoman" as font name.
The same thing happens to many other fonts, here some examples:

"Palatino Linotype" --> "PalatinoLinotype-Roman"
"Abbey Medium Extended" --> "Abbey-Medium-Extended"

Can someone tell me where can I get these fonts name, wich are different from those I get using EnumFontFamilies/EnumFontFamiliesEx Windows API?

Thank you in advance
