PDF2EXCEL evaluation

Post by mrtflv » Fri Feb 25 2005

I'm using the pdf converter 2.5 developer edition with my activation code.
I'm trying to evaluate the pdf2excel conversion.
After i have generated a pdf file with my developer activation code i want to convert the pdf to xls.
Do do this i do the following:

SetLicenseKeyA("Converter Evaluation Developer", "07EFCDAB010001005508708341FA27688B4677FD9F0949D06B3E571BA69FAED5D5C39249776339468C6EA491C4EE6A623009DBB774A2FE1156D8FB96104CA5A98A09553A526E0BD5D52E18005B567947D12396CEE8582B247059535C597904B32F14CD1245B1");

retc= PDF2EXCEL(FileIn, "", FileOut, 0, 2);

but the function pdf2excel never returns from the call.
Do you have any idea ?
Thanks
Flavio

Hello,

The Activation code you are using is for version 2.10 of the PDF Converter evaluation license. This code does not work with version 2.50, you need to get a new activation code for the new version.

PDF2Excel is returning True if succesfull and False otherwise.

This should help.

You told me that the activation code is related to the release 2.1, but after downloading the evaluation version of the pdf suite developer 2.5 that is the activation code that has been written to the install.ini.
Can you give me a correct activation code to evaluate the pdf2Excel function.
thanks
Flavio

Hello,

The version of the Document Converter that is on our site is 2.10, it is the PDF Converter that exists in version 2.50. It is my mistake to have mentioned that you will need an activation code for version 2.50, your activation code is fine.

I tried to use PDF2Excel using version 2.10 of the Document Converter, and this function returned 'True' in my tests and generated an Excel document.
