Generated PDF's are not 100% PDF 1.3 compatible.

Some of the PDF's that we generate are printed on commercial digital printers and sometimes also pass through RIP processors.

These systems work perfectly well with files generated via distiller.

However, files generated from the Amyuni PDF Converter display incorrect characters for embedded fonts. The incorrect characters are underscores, exclamation marks etc.

It seems that the output of Amyuni converter may not be 100% PDF 1.3 compatible.

Can anyone help ?

Hello again James,

The ouptut pdf files are 100 % compatible with PDF Standards (PDF 1.3).

Please try to generate these files using version 2.08 of the PDF Converter.

Are you saying that pre-2.08 the converter was not 1.3 compatible.

Hello,

Versions 2.06 and 2.07 are also compatible with PDF 1.3.

please try to enable multilanguage support and font embedding when generating the pdf file, this may help.

If you are using an old version of the PDF Converter please update to the latest version.
