We have a user that is moving our app from a 32-bit Win2003 Server to a 64-bit Win2012 Server. The app is run by remoting into the server. Both are virtual servers.
One of the processes of our application creates a single PDF file of about 2600 pages, with multiple bookmarks. On the Win2003 Server this takes about 4.5 minutes. On the Win2012 Server it takes somewhere between 12.5 and 20 minutes. The software is the same. The hardware is newer and most likely faster. The Win2003 server is running version 4.5 of the driver. The Win2012 is running 5.0.1.3.
Is the 64-bit PDF driver slower, or are there some settings or changes we should make to speed up the printing of the PDF file under Win2012?
Thanks.
Rob
Speed under Win2012
Re: Speed under Win2012
Hello,
I would suggest that you upgrade to our current v5.0.1.7 version of the Amyuni PDF Converter. Another customer posted a similar situation and their issue was resolved with v5.0.1.7.
Thanks

Re: Speed under Win2012
No luck. The speed between the 5.0.1.3 and 5.0.1.7 version of the drivers was almost identical.
