Hello,
We are experiencing an issue with our application that uses the developer's edition of the PDF printer driver. We have encountered a document that takes over 30 seconds to render (it is a large color tiff) and are obviously exceeding the 20 second limit on license activation. There isn't a question about hardware speed or performance as its been confirmed on multiple machines. Is there any way to increase this limit to one that will work for these larger documents?
Regards,
Brian
Printer not activated, error code -30
Re: Printer not activated, error code -30
Hi,
Depending on the Amyuni license held by the developer, the time-out used by the Amyuni PDF Converter can be extended slightly.
You want to have the developer of the application contact support@amyuni.com directly.
I would also like to point out that once the Amyuni PDF Converter has started the print job (single print job) the printer driver will not time out. The time-out value is relevant if you send multiple print jobs to the Amyuni printer.
In this case, the only way to avoid the “error code -30”, is to call the EnablePrinter() between print jobs.
Thanks
