I'm receiving a printer not activated, error -60 when trying to print, what does -60 indicate ?

No one know the meaning of error code -60 ? I'm using converter 5.0.1.

Hi,

The error code -60 is generated when trying to run the developer’s edition of the Amyuni PDF Converter with a desktop application license on a server.

Our licensing model has changed slightly with version v5.0

Our licenses are also now dependant on the operating system that the Amyuni PDF Converter is going o be installed on.

Desktop Application license:
----------------------------------
The desktop application license allows the developer to install the developer edition of the Amyuni PDF Converter on a PC running XP, Vista, win7 and win8 windows operating systems. One desktop application license is required per application deployment. The application license is associated to a particular application name and not the number of installations or geographic region the application will be used in.

Applications that run on terminal servers can use the desktop application license.

Server Application License:

The sever application license will allow the developer to install the developer edition of the Amyuni PDF Converter on a servers running win2003, win2008 and sever 2012 operating systems. One server developer application license is required per server deployment of the Amyuni PDF Converter. Additionally the server application license is also associated to a particular application name.

In the case where the developer needs to deploy the Amyuni PDF Converter on another servers, other sever application licenses will be needed. These additional licenses can be purchased by the developer or by the user of the developer’s application.

In order to resolve your issue you will need to acquire a Server Application License.

How will you handle normal desktop applications, our ERP app for example, that sometimes also gets installed on a 2003 or 2008 machine?

If you install it on the server, you need to get server license.
