Installing our Amyuni Printer Breaks QuickBooks

When our customers install our product we install the amyuni printer unfortunately this breaks the customers quickbook printer and proseries printer which also use amyuni.

Is there any way around this?

we call the install.exe that comes with the 4.0 amyuni document converter and we pass in the printer name, the license key and the amyuni code.

Is there any way to make the install so it doesn't break other amyuni printers?

The only way to avoid this is to replace CDINTF.DLL v4.0.0.7 that comes with QuickBooks with a more recent version. This specific 4.0.0.7 has forward compatibility issues and will not work with any version higher than 4.0.0.7. To resolve the issue, search for CDINTF.DLL in the QuickBooks folder and replace it with your own if it is higher than 4.0.0.7.
