Concatenation problems (continued)

Post by Stefan »

Hi all,

does anyone have more information on the concatenation problem mentioned a few weeks ago? :?:

I would like an update on this as well.

I know in my support contact it has been stated that the problem cannot be recreated on your end. However, I can use the same code with the version I downloaded as a demo and concatenation works but with the latest build, concatenation does not work.

Is there going to be a new build to address this?

Hello,

We have currently released version 2.10d of the Document Converter.

Version 2.10d is available to all licensees of version 2.1 of the
PDF/RTF/HTML/JPeg or Excel Converters and is available for download
from: http://www.amyuni.com/downloads/CONV_SUITE_210.zip.

Note: Please follow up on the same thread so it will be easier to check what was the initial issue.

I hope this will help.

2.10d does work for me. Concatenation works as it did prior to upgrading to 2.10c.

Are the pdf files you are trying to concatenate generated with FontEmbedding option on?

Please try to remove the Font Embedding option when generating the files, If Font Embedding is needed please use Full Font Embedding instead of Partial one.

Hope this helps.

Concatenation problem

Post by Neel Desai »

we are also experiencing similar problem.

Interestingly, its working fine on one PC but not the other. I also tried using full font embeding option.

Will appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks in advance

I just spoke with the Amyuni Tech support. They were very courteous and helpfull.

In order to resolve this issue copy the CDINTF210.DLL to windows\System32 directory.

I am using version 2.10d and have the cdintf210.dll in my System32 folder
But am still experiencing Problems as others have outlined above.
Printing with:
NoPrompt + Concatenate + UseFileName
I get one file with the first page and a file with a .cat extension that is my second page(only printing two pages)

Hello mrmyers,

Did you try to use our latest version 2.10e?

If you are still facing problems with the latest versions please send your sample files along with instructions to reproduce this issue to canada.support@amyuni.com so we can try to reproduce it.

Thanks.
