Checkbox are rendered as bullet points in Excel
Checkbox are rendered as bullet points in Excel
I am using the Amyuni 3.01 converter in a C# .NET application. When printing from Excel all the checkboxes in the document are rendered as bullet points. I also own another 3rd party application that uses an Amyuni driver (version 2.5 I believe). This other application will render the checkboxes correctly. Is there a problem with the 3.01 drivers and rendering Excel checkboxes?

Hello,
Please use Postscript simulation when generating your document, if this didn't help please try version 3.03 that is currently online.

Re: Checkbox are rendered as bullet points in Excel
I am using the free trial at the moment while my company evaluates different conversion products.
I was originally using the .NET port (cdintfNET300.dll). It has a method called SetSimPostscript(bool) to set the postScript method. I set this to true and it did not solve the problem. The documentation indicates that there is no method to set postscript in the .net port, so I thought it was possible this method wasn't fully implemented. I then converted my project to the DLL (cdintfEX.dll) and used the SimPostScript property. Still no luck. This leaves me with 2 questions.
1. Is there a way I can evaluate the 3.03 drivers? Everything about the Amyuni driver is better than the competition, but this issue could be a show-stopper for my customer.
2. Is there updated documentation for the .net port? If possible I would rather use those libraries, but sometimes the docs will say a method doesn't exist and then I'll find a method with a similar name to the COM library. I can't be sure if its implemented, or just a stub in.
Thanks.

Hello,
You can definitely try the 3.03 version. You just have to downlaod a new demo from our site.
I suggest that you sent your sample file to our technical support support@amyuni.com to try converting it to PDF and see the output.
Hope this helps.
