While printing from Adobe Acrobat, I get this error message
The file being printed is already in pdf format. The Print Conversion will stop.
The application hangs. First, why is printing an existing PDF dis-allowed? I'm trying to overcome incompatibilities with various PDF documents and using Acrobat to reprint seems logical. I sure this worked with previous version of the PDF driver.
Second, is it necessary to a have a dialogue message box that locks the application until user clicks ok?
Using version 3.02 driver
Is it possible to print using Amyuni's PDF viewer and what is the command line option or OLE command?
Acrobat uses AcroRd32.exe /t
EDIT: Found this
PDFCreativeDoc.exe /p name.pdf

Acrobat does not support printing PDF documents to other PDF files. This has caused us and our customers a high volume of support requests. Printing from Acrobat to PDF Converter can be done if the user knows exactly what he/she is doing but is generally a source of errors.
This option can be reactivated in version 3 by setting the key PrintDisabled to an empty string. The key can be changed either programmatically using PrinterParamStr or directly in the registry under HKCC\Software\PrinterName. The latter is of course not recommended.
One can also change the message that is displayed when printing from Acrobat by changing the PrintDisabledMessage registry key.
These keys are documented in more details in the section titled "Disabling Printing from Certain Applications" of the developer documentation which we recommend our customers and even our own staff to skim through with major releases for new features and other changes.

We have tested the PrintDisabled method again and it works as documented. Please make sure you are replacing "PrinterName" with the real name of your PDF Printer.
